He has an open conversation with his patients and takes the time to properly diagnose your specific issues and thoroughly explain what is going on. I was in pain and coming from another chiropractor who didn't listen or take the time to even get an x-ray. Dr Whitlow made time in his schedule immediately. After my first visit he called the next day to see how I was doing. I've had a couple of treatments and am already feeling better.

I had a strong impression that Dr. Whitlow was the one I should see vs. anotherr chiropractor. I was right. He took thorough, excellent care of me on my initial consult. I strained my back and after a couple of days of self-care, decided to call Dr Whitlow. He worked me into his schedule that same morning. He interviewed me about the nature, duration, location, and cause of the pain. After a full exam of the area and he quickly manipulated bone back into place.

Dr. Whitlow is a very patient focused practitioner. He is very flexible when my busy schedule makes it hard to keep appointment times and will always work with me to make sure I can get the treatments I need whenever there is a break in the action.

I came in to see Dr. Whitlow for the first time two weeks ago with restricted breathing due to a sharp burning pain between my shoulder blades and a dull ache/pain in my right leg when sitting for more than one hour at a time. After my first two visits, the pain between my shoulder blades and in my right leg has subsided 95% from what they were before within minutes after the adjustments. To be able to breathe properly again and sit at my desk at work without having to get up every 30 minutes is simply amazing to me. I also like that Dr. Whitlow practices the Gonstead method of chiropractic which utilizes a number of different steps and tools such as x-rays to get a more accurate overall view of what your spine needs to get your back/neck/body feeling perfect again. I would definitely recommend him to anyone that lives in the D.C./NOVA area.
